Arguably one of the most underrated bands of the 1970s, Little Feat recorded several acclaimed albums including – Sailin’ Shoes, Feats Don’t Fail Me Now and Dixie Chicken. In addition, they released one of the most enduring and classic live albums of all time – 1978’s Waiting For Columbus. A true musician’s band, Little Feat are still considered today as one of the most influential acts in rock. Despite all of the acclaim, major commercial success was never achieved; their highest charting – and only Platinum – record was Waiting For Columbus (#18 US Billboard 200). They also never had a single reached the US Top 40. Nonetheless, tracks such as “Willin,'” “Dixie Chicken” and “Fat Man in the Bathtub” are legitimate classics. The list below is the best representation of the influence they had on music with all of the artists that covered their songs – from Bonnie Raitt and Carly Simon to Robert Palmer and Van Halen.
