It makes perfect sense that brothers would form bands and make great music. Some of the best bands of the past several decades have included brothers such as the Bee Gees and Beach Boys. However, for as many success stories as there are for bands with brothers, there are several that could not work out their differences and either split up (Oasis and Black Crowes) or separated (Dire Straits and Creedence Clearwater Revival). In the case of Dire Straits, David Knopfler only made it two albums with his brother Mark before splitting. Tom Fogerty lasted close to the end with brother John in Creedence Clearwater Revival and only missed the last album.
Thankfully, Alex and Eddie stayed together through the years to give us some of the best hard rock music ever recorded and INXS brothers Andrew, John and Tim stuck it out to provide fans with a stack of Top 40 hits.
