Mutt Lange is probably best known to most fans as the former husband and producer of country/pop megastar Shania Twain. Shania’s album Come on Over is the bestselling country album of all-time and one of the top 10 best sellers in history with Certified Sales of nearly 30 million copies worldwide.
Despite his success with Shania Twain, Mutt is better known to rock fans as the producer of several of the biggest hard rock albums ever made including AC/DC’s Back in Black, Foreigner 4, and Def Leppard’s Pyromania and Hysteria. Perhaps more impressive is that he wrote or co-wrote many of the best-known songs on the multi-platinum Def Leppard albums including “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Love Bites.” Lange also took part in AC/DC’s most commercially popular phase for Back in Black and For Those About to Rock.
