Drummers sit behind their kit night after night but ultimately they cannot sit still. Whenever a drummer’s main band is on hiatus, they are very likely to start side bands or join other projects to lend their hands. From the list below, I’ve listed famous rock drummers from the past and present along with bands they helped form as side projects, while still in their main band, as well as bands they formed or joined after they officially left.
