List of Foo Fighters Top 40 Hits (And Those That Didn’t Make It)

Anyone listening to rock music since the 90’s has no doubt heard many songs from Dave Grohl’s band Foo Fighters. Whether on satellite radio, watching tv or movies, Foo Fighters are everywhere. Since 1995, Foo Fighters have released 10 studio albums. Of those, nine have made the Top 10 on the US Billboard 200 – the only exception being the debut album Foo Fighters which peaked at #23. Every album since has been a Top 10 hit, including 2 that hit #1 (Wasting Light and Concrete and Gold).

While many of their songs are soundtracks to our lives, they have surprisingly only had three songs hit the Billboard Top 40 – 1999’s “Learn To Fly” (#19), 2005’s “Best of You” (#18) and 2007’s “The Pretender” (#38). Incredibly, the Foos have never hit the Top 10 for any single. Now that we’ve covered the songs that made the Top 40, below is a list of some of the classic songs that did not make the Top 40.

“This is a Call”

“I’ll Stick Around”

“Big Me”

“Everlong”

My Hero”

“Breakout”

“All My Life”

“Times Like These”

“Rope”

“Walk”
